So about 11 years ago a little game called Ragnarok Online was all the rage on the internet with most forums usually having some form of small group playing it.

Well this weekend it's successor (which has been around for some time itself, just not in a proper English localised version) is open for stress testing.

Will anyone be checking it out?

I remember Ragnarok Online during the early stages of beta testing. Heck, a lot of members were playing the game at the time. I don't know if I would play this, but it looks free to play at the moment. I may consider trying it out just for fun. :S

My brother's been bugging me about this for a while, so I'll most likely be pulled into it whether I want to or not. I hope we can pull off some shenanigans like we did back in the day...

The first one was incredibly boring and a gigantic mess, at least back when I played it.

Just been playing this one for the past 3 hours and well... I got to level 9.

It's very cute, and appeals to my liking of dress up - but yeah, it's a bit dull :p

I might have to give er a shot. Many wee hours of the morning were spent on RO many years ago.

i adored the original, it was fun and i lost many days of my life to that game... but, now i'm playing on SW:TOR & STO, on top of my console games, so i barely have time for another MMO, no matter how much i liked the old RO... of course War of Emperium is what made me die-hard anti-PvP; besides the 2 current MMos i play barely feature PvP, they're more story focused and less random do whatever with less griefers... so prolly not, not right now anyway, i am intrigued though...

Well, the game's graphics are completely messed up for me. Half the screen is filled with a solid sky color, and foilage is flickering like crazy.

They gave people who played the original RO and took part in the RO2 Beta a title and a cute outfit :3

game just barely works for me. Graphical errors all over the place.

Got it from Steam, works fine for me. Played a few hours late at night (now that's nostalgia) and got to level 5 I think. Nothing revolutionary, feels like RO but 3D.

I swapped some of the music files with the original RO music, like Prontera and the Culvert. Makes it feel much more authentic and nostalgic. :D

I have played a few hours of it, on both a cleric and a thief, and it has fit perfectly within my expectations. It is a decent, however boring, and cluttered mess of an MMO that does nothing revolutionary to the genre and seems to be made for fans of the first one rather than attempting to revitalize the series for new fans.

When I saw it on Steam awhile ago I downloaded it, played it for a bit, got bored, haven't played since. But that's how most of my interactions with MMOs go, so par for the course.
