This is my 1000th post and next month will be my two years on this site :jess:!!!

I am very happy to have found this forum. It has greatly affected my life. Since I joined this forum I have gotten my GED, went to college, gotten some work experience, gotten my driver's license, started dating a wonderful man whom I met on this forum, got my green card to be a permanent resident, and moved to South Carolina, among other things.

On the 15th, I started my appointments to get on the waiting list for a kidney. It's been years but I need to get on the list for the transplant for a better and improved life. Well, that's it for now. Also congrats for getting post number 1,000.

EDIT: Ah, 5,000 is my next milestone. My join date is sort of false, I joined in 2007, then left like a year later or whatever, and now I'm back and actually active. So yeah, funny that.

I have no earthly idea how many posts I've made but I've come to love this site, even during my absences, and a lot of good has come from it for me. I have a wonderful daughter, and even with a few hiccoughs lately I'm on the road to finally getting my life on track!
