I have been expressly lectured to not bring alcohol into the house, but I am doing it anyway goddamnit because I need it in order to be at peace with my family, goshdangit! I feel like I am fifteen but it has to be done! What my mother doesn't know won't kill her!*

What have you gotten away with lately, or what's the worst thing you've ever gotten away with?

* I will be sure to make a thread/update this one when she tries to ground me.

I don't have to get away with anything because I am not a child :roll2

I'm going to get away with skinning your hide or with coercing Tara to do it for me. :aimmad:

I come from a mormon household and I have to get away with things. :colbert:

Fine, um, I once lied about a school project for like 2 weeks past its due date, convincing the teacher there was a legitimate reason I hadn't handed it in and never telling my parents that I even had a project due. Eventually everyone found out and I got so many "I'm not mad, just disappointed" speeches, it was terrible.

I was generally a good kid. But during a random fit of rebellion I threw some blank work books out of the window at school once, I still have no idea what actually possessed me to do that as it was so unlike me... but anyway the teacher automatically assumed it was the runts of the class who did it (after all the day before they'd been throwing full fountain pen ink cartridges at the wall above the bin) and gave them a detention.

I also farted like 5 times while I was staying with you Sarah, and blamed them all on your dog.

I knew it was you, I just didn't say anything because I didn't want you to be embarrassed.

I think I left work 15 minutes early last week because everyone else was in a meeting?

It feels so good to be so bad.

Well my mom still tells me to be careful when I go out drinking and I went to a rave a while ago and she told me that I better not be doing drugs.

I was doing all the drugs.

Senior year of high school, English project was to keep up with a scrapbook throughout the year and turn it in mid-May for review and scoring. Basically, everyone was granted an A if they managed to write shit down and include some pictures, some color, and any form of creativity. Varying degrees of A were given out for the project, with a handful of Bs and even one kid who failed... how do you fail a free extra credit test grade?!

Anyway... I never started my scrapbook.

I got the only 100 in the course.

I convinced our teacher that I had turned it in the day before it was due, and she remembered going through the scrapbook, and scored me a 100 and apologized profusely to me two weeks later at the end of the semester when she was handing all of them back out to us to take home, stating she couldn't find mine anywhere and that someone else must have taken it home by mistake.

I still have residual guilt from small things I "got away with" when I was younger but I think it's been years since I had to do anything sneaky.

I ate some of one of my housemate's Nutella without him knowing a couple weeks ago. But he's a really nice guy, so he would have told me to take some, anyway.

There were two kids I didn't get along with in elementary school. So during the winter, I took the hat of one of them and hid it in the other kid's locker (no locks were used back then). I anonymously reported the other kid by leaving a note on the teacher's desk. I went far as to disguise my handwriting. Anyway, the other kid got in trouble for "stealing the hat" and then both of them were too busy hating each other to mess with me anymore.

Well, first you have to make sure when you attempt the murder that there are no witnesses, if there are... Eliminate them quietly before they talk.
Oh wait? What have i gotten away with?
I never try to get away with much. I never have a reason to.

I snuck in food to Coachella. As well as some pills. Pills weren't drugs or anything, but they could have been, and I got them through 2 lines of security without a problem. And the security at Coachella is bonkers. They literally searched in between my boobs and inside my shoes.

Huge feeling of WOOHOO! once I got past security.

That is the first time I've heard of security doing this to girls. I always have my girl friends sneak stuff in for me. :(

Last week: getting too wasted at an office party before having to go out on a report, puking up and clogging the sinks in the toilet, having to get escorted outside by the security guy while barely being able to stand, screwing up the report by taking drunk photos which turned out blurry half of the time. The editor in chief also added me on FB and I didn't accept his request.

Nobody at work even noticed, aside from the secretary asking me on monday if I was sober enough to pull off the job :monster:

One time I ate a donut on shift when I wasn't supposed to.

Yeah, take that Tim Horton's.

They have certain hours at your work during which donuts are banned?

That's what I've always heard too. But at least for the first day (it got more lax as the days went on), security was VERY thorough. There was one girl ahead of me who was wearing the teeny tiniest bikini top and she literally exclaimed, "There's nowhere for me to hide anything!" while they jostled her tits.

But rest assured, plenty of people got stuff in.

That posted and out of the way because bad ass tunes deserve some credit!

I'm still here to echo Paul's sentiments which is pretty obvious I've gotten away with a bit too much at times :D

I'm also fairly certain I ought to class 5 timing in here and getting away with it (don't ask how)

That or the fact that I'm generally considered to be an arsehole but lovable :D

Well that's just silly of them. I'm sure people still find a way to get stuff in even when they get groped. :|

So wait, you work in a bloody coffee/donut shop and yet you can't sample some of their fine foods while on shift? I'd understand if it was like some really messy, long meal, but a simple snack? As long as they weren't eating while I'm being served, I really wouldn't mind a till operator having a small snack or drink mid-way through a taxing shift.

I can tell if I was a shift manager, I'd be alot more lenient. :p

I decided to try some...plant...for the first time with my guy while I was visiting him for spring break (his friends are major stoners). I enjoyed it and no on got caught or in trouble. It's definitely not a regular thing for me anyway since I live in a different state than my guy and I don't even know anyone up here who does it. :P

Why bother calling it "some plant" and then call the people stoners? xD

Sometimes I buy stuff and then put it in my closet for a few weeks so that when my husband asks why I bought that I can say "That? I bought it a long time ago!"
