Kart Racing Games

Remember when these were all the rage? I think my favorite of all time is Mario Kart 64. I also really liked Diddy Kong Racing but Mario Kart 64 just felt more all around solid to me.

I used to play the original Super Mario Kart a lot before the N64 existed but then I got spoiled by thumbstick controls and never could go back to the original. The original had the best Rainbow Road, though. Also the best Rainbow Road song.

There was this woodland creature racing game I remember playing a longass time ago. You could race moose and raccoons and other creatures. It was pretty damn fun!

Also, Diddy Kong Racing was pretty good.

Mario Kart is by far the best kart racing game. I didn't really grow up with MK64, but I did play the heck out of Mario Kart DS!

I love the Mario Kart games. Oddly enough, we've been on a Mario Kart kick lately, switching between Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circuit and Mario Kart Wii.
