Besides editing issues like grammar and such, is the content perfect for its time? What's left to envision about the game besides adding/modifying it?

Not flawless. That's fanboy vocabulary.

I mean it kinda sucks that it can't make me breakfast. Other than that though...

From the posts so far I can tell the game is closer to flawless than this topic and/or its posters.

I almost got breakfast out of it once but it ended up being a tuna sandwich for an early lunch. Nothing can be perfect I guess.

I don't think it's flawless. I think the opera scene is flawless. The game itself, though... it's very good but it's not my favorite FF.

It's not flawless. It's the most buggy ff game ever released.

Also, I feel like the combat took a substantial step forward with 7 and the materia system, then a step backwards with 10 and the grid. :(
It doesn't have Zack Fair or Pinkie Pie in it, so that's a point against it.
Some of the characters have little developement, such as Shadow, relm and her grandpa, gau, gogo, mog, and umaro.
You only get to steal costumes as locke like twice.
you can make everyone god tier with proper planning.

However, even with those, and many other flaws, it is still a solid 8.5/10. Good game, but certainly not flawless.

SMAC is but it's an unfair comparison

Give me ten minutes with that game and I'll find a flaw with it.

And yeah, not even close to flawless. The thing is the though flaws it does have arent' that big, even if there are quite a few, and the posotives are amazing.

Final Fantasy VI is one of the best.

But is it 100 per cent perfect ? Lol, no.

Well, there was that old Doom/Vanish glitch, so that was a pretty major glitch. But the game is near perfect to me anyway.

You'd give up before you hit ten because you'd find the game unplayable. It is the exact opposite of your style.

Well, I guess I don't have to play it to find an imperfection then! :monster:

(And I'm not completely adverse to Strategy games, I did enjoy some of the older ones, and I liked Sword of the Stars! :p

Ignoring the mediocre battle system, FFVI is pretty damn flawless. As close as most great games come anyway.
