Because they just showed a new trailer at E3 confirming the rumor that it's been changed to Final Fantasy XV, and it's a PS4 exclusive.

The most amazing announcement SE has made in awhile! I guess the only thing that bugs me is that it is no longer coming to PS3. =/ I guess I will be investing in a ps4 sooner than I had originally planned. Still, I can't believe SE did something SMART. SO happy.

Guess that explains why we saw nothing for the last two years.

As cool as that city on the water looks and all, I'm a bit disappointed if it means the city from the original trailers won't be showing up. Hopefully it's in there somewhere because I liked the visual style behind it.

But it was there in the trailer, for a moment, Noctis saw it out of the car window. Remember the reason this game is taking so long is. That they're making a huge world with a real-sized world map, airships, etc. it's gonna be humongous.
