The Anticapation Game...

Hey everyone, so I figured that being a gamer many of us like to "anticipate" or even just guess at whats coming like a prediction.

So here is how it works:

Post what Game Title you think may come (It Must Exist)
Post what actual Platform or Platforms it is for
Post the Company its Developed by and if possible the Publisher if known
Post The estimated Year or full date you can guess

Optional:
Explain/Comment on what you want and why from that game your "anticipating"

Additional:
Please, feel free to be skeptical of others posts and comment on sed post and even share your wish list or prediction of sed game/s.

Comment:
Fable IV may not be in the same great Albion we know anymore. The third one was about being a ruler and this time I hope its about adventures like the first one was. I REALLY want great swords back and some fully featured weapon customization- including gems. The magic looks like it could use some expansion, there were some cool spells from the first that could use some return and sprucing. I also think character leveling would be interesting for those that want it again, have it optional almost like Fallout NV or ME3 did. I think that I just really miss the stuff like this and it would make Fable great again to many fans from TLC. I also loved the Gooey system (Fable III) for the Landlord-Retailer stuff when you bought sold or traded buildings and properties. So I will probably like any improvements that will bring.

Com'on Rare! I have been waiting ages for this... I just think a new Banjo Kazooie would be awesome. Just please no more N&B unless you have a third party do it for you while you toil away on Perfect Dark or B&K itself. I want Rare to do a true platform B&K game and Xbox One is looking really good. It'd cream the N64 graphically (comparison wise) and can push a lot of units potentially. That and I'd buy it through Pre-Order. As if the new B&K was speed-dialed. :)

So its not like D3 wasn't going to release on PS3, 360 and most of Next Gen. WiiU gets left out on that side. After all many forget that Blizzard started out on the Playstation and hated it, so the moved to PC as a staple platform until things looked good enough again to do Diablo for consoles. They even have said so during the GDC conferences this year and I remember them cussin' out Sony for the policies and lack of needed support for the PS1/X at the time, that and for not reaching Blizzards goals or expectations. This was in a old EGM article somewhere I wish I still had it. Or I'd scan and share. Other than that Half Life 3 will come someday like HL2 did out of nowhere. It will just take a lot of fan requests as Valve is more focused on Publishing and Steam itself instead.

Sheesh. Not entirely sure what brought that on but thanks for continuing your trend of being a complete ass in any replies you make to me. But okay... I guess you completely misunderstood the joke. There was a long running meme on the internet that Diablo III, Kingdom Hearts III and Half-Life III would never come out due to all the respective companies remaining silent on them. Half-Life 3 has a particularly large running string of memes and jokes on this.

The point I was making is that two of those games have either now been released or have been officially confirmed - so the unholy trinity is broken and maybe we will eventually see Half-Life 3.

LoL! That could be if it actually was a game. He needs to post something that exists as a game or franchise (past-tense). I know the Xbox isn't the popular choice here but I game on multiple platforms so there have been some games I just miss. Rare (being one of the missed companies) has been one of those that hasn't been too active. Now that they have Double Helix on KI that means they could be working on a real K&B game or at lest something other than sports. :/

There are many things he could have picked from, like older games form older platforms he himself would like to see again. Instead he chose to post against the thread's idea.

The first game was a magnificent original IP with... well, a fairly hefty amount of flaws, but I'm glad it's getting a chance to iron out those kinks and be the game it deserves to be.

I'm predicting that in four years, the Xbox One will go through what the SEGA Saturn went through - ie, go 'end of life'. I'm not being anti-console, I'm just predicting something that could happen.

I think it wont be a huge issue, since fans of Mirror's Edge still want more from it and I suppose that will depend if the second one does well or not. Agreed. Time will indeed sooner or later tell. ;)

It wasn't in bad taste at all. I could come up with various jokes that are in bad taste, but that was a 100% absolutely clean and acceptable joke. You may be sensitive to the console wars, but that doesn't mean we can't make jokes about them if we want to (and I'll say it again, it was actually a genuine prediction and I mean it might actually happen).
