I like the wedding dress idea very much I always loved Chii's clothes in Chobits I think they should do some dresses for the Miqo'te in FFXIV ARR.

theyre already in!^^ dont remember the name of the gear set but a friend of mine posted a video blog on youtube. will look it up tomorrow.

as for what costume i really want in ffxiv would be a miko costume. in case somebody doesnt know what mikos are, theyre japanese shrine maiden. :)

Ok, darn it! I wish I took a pic - well I couldn't have, it was in a CS, but did you guys do the chocobo quest after you join the GC (in beta3) (oh - we started in Ul'dah just for beta - back to Grid/Adder for launch, so idk if it is unique to the Ul'dah quest) and there is this Lala in an adorable chocobo costume giving you your chocobo and having you name it! Want that costume!!

yeah... i wish we could dye them. :/ it gets rather boring to look at everyone in the same af.

Nah, I like AF gear being undyeable personally. I won't mind if they do make it so you can dye it, but I love the AF gear being like an official uniform, sort of like a prize you get that proves your skill or something. I suppose for me it's similar to the Green Jacket they give out to golf players (I think?). Seeing a Paladin in black armour? Just seems wrong...

Dude this looks like DK armor and is unacceptable for pallies, this is almost as bad as DKs running around in that purple Judgment transmog :zombert:

As for FFXIV my poor catboy is in some sort of yellow dress and it's highly embarrassing for him. I want something more manly :mymelbert:

yeah...about that. i would agree with you...if we didnt just pick up most of our af without much of a fight. only the body had a boss fight. what from my point of view was rather disappointing. i would have loved to fight for each af part.

Why not Lulu's outfit? Ok, the cleavage is a bit much but I think the buckles are rly cool. I would imagine that outfit being a bit more covering up near the chest but still with the cool buckles

The only thing I slightly dislike about having all of these outfits in the game is that they don't really fit in with the world, and that takes away some of the immersion to me.

examples plz?oO i never really got that feeling. the only thing i noticed is that you get bored seeing the same af on everybody, so i'd also welcome different gear depending on the characters gender.
they do a pretty good job with different look on event gear. like the yukatas and the swimsuits but id like to see some differences on all of our gear.

now...back to topic. since im bored and really wanna play phase 4 right now(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), i remembered the storyline of uldah. we get invited to a banquet with royalty but show up like some peasant. <.< i want something to wear on special occasions! not only visit the hairdresser and come with a new haircut, beard or facepaint.

and since some already spoke about a wedding dress, how about we get some clothes for attending the wedding? i doubt showing up there in battle gear really sets the mood.^^"

Examples: I don't think Yuna's outfit (it's in the game, right? I could be wrong) or Lightning's outfit fit in with the medieval-esque theme of FFXIV.

I don't think Yuna's outfit is that outlandish, despite disliking it in general. Lightning's one is perhaps overly modern, though.

We can't really say if the clothes look too outlandish yes or no cuz we only seen a small part of Hydaelyn. For all we know the people of Ishgard have a total other wardrobe. Also the people of Garlemand might have more modern clothes, like in FFXII you had the people of Dalmasca with the more modest clothes and then the people of Archadia with the more lavish clothes.
