I'm new here so if this has been asked/talked about already then just ignore it.
What're your thoughts on having a area that works like Sea/Sky from FFXI?
For those who don't know, Sea/Sky were entire regions that you unlocked by doing story missions on FFXI. These were nicknames of the areas based on where they were located. Sky was located in the sky, and Sea located via a airship going in to a portal in the middle of the ocean. Inside these areas were mobs to fight as well boss NMs you could fight for drops.
Having a area you have to work to unlock was one of my favorite aspects of XI. Made you want to do the story to obtain these areas. They were unique to me, especially Sea. Anyone hoping for a area that works like this with XIV?
