I will be uh... the cat girl because in my brief experience with the game that's the only one I can remember and whatever class is the tank (Warrior?) because that is how I (steam)roll (the enemy). I hope I can get one because then we can all play together! :D

I'd probably take a Miqo'te (female) as a gladiator, because that's what I played as during my brief venture into 1.x. I picked a Miqo'te in 1.x because I simply liked their design. Nothing wrong with Hyur, but they're just a tad too ordinary looking, so I prefer something a bit more fantasy-ish in my games, and the other races didn't look as appealing. I picked gladiator because I'm boring and unoriginal: when I get to pick medieval weaponry, I always take one-handed swords. One can never go wrong with a good old-fashioned sword.

I want to create a Miqote with conjurer job so that I can aid my team mates by healing them in times of need.

I'm gonna post for a friend of mine who's still not got a Beta Key and has been waiting patiently for a while:

'I'd want to be a Female Miquo'te as the Conjurer class for the reason it would be that I prefer very natural races and classes (natural as in like they summon the essence for their abilities from the earth) and the conjurer because while its very natural it also has the balance of support which I love with some damage so that I can play alone if I need to and that I feel I can help out in a party other then just buffing and sitting there healing.'

Hope that I'm allowed to do this for someone else (as I'm already in the Beta)

As regards to the post, IDNAN already mentioned my choice of the female Miquo'te conjurer for the naturalness of the race/class and the fact that I find myself at home supporting others and often end up in the support role in most games that I play.

I would really love to start playing as a Lalafell.
Oddly enough, Dunesfolks seem to be the more magically inclined at the start of the game and while there is a special kind of happiness in slashing away and wrecking havoc with a massive gladiator, I want to see how a mage cna hold up with the traditional AoE attacks(not to mention the gfx always tend to be spectacular the first time around)

I know its a weird choice but they do start out with the best stats and can always switch it up with some melee in the end so why not pick the best of both worlds.

I have no idea what to expect, so I reckon I will go Miqo'te (because sexy cat lady yes plz) and go Archer/Lancer because I have a Bow/Spear fetish currently, and they're less "main attackers" so I can run as a nice supporting player.
