It's finally here (http://ff6.ocremix.org/)

The OverClocked Remix album of the music of Final Fantasy VI has finally arrived and, if the clips on the trailer have anything to go buy, it sounds incredible. Some bits gave me goosebumps!

Who's planning on downloading this and giving it a good listen?

Well you can select which files you want with that so you don't have to download all 3.5GB of it :monster:

Did some Kickstarter for this and have the hard copy coming in the near future. (http://home.eyesonff.com/final-fantasy-vi/145534-give-oc-remix-some-money.html) :aimsun:

Amazing album, some of OCR's finest FF work to date - and that's really saying something.

The Opera Sequence sounds like what it would be like if it was covered by Dream Theater. I'm loving it :jess: (No, I'm not advertising McDonalds)

I swear there are way more tracks on this one, not that I'm complaining. The quality is fucking great.

I downloaded this, but have not listed to it yet. I plan on soon, though. I just can't believe it took the community this long to make a FFVI album!

I listened through about 80% of it the other night.

Loved just about all of the more orchestral tracks. Plenty of different styles for everyones tastes. From Metal, to Electro, to Flamenco, to Jazz, to Chiptune, to Spaghetti Western Rock, it's all over the place.

Despite being 75 or something tracks long, a large amount of those remixes weren't really to my taste... but I can't complain. The thing is a free download. And there was plenty of great work on it.

They released this at the worst possible time for me though (personally), as I'm planning on doing my own VI tribute album, and I hate doing these at the same time as another project for the same title. I think I might hold off on it, and do my Terranigma tribute first. Just to put some space between the releases.
