Zell's Love Quest - Help please!

Sooo, I am playing ff8 for the first time. I am just before the end of disc 2 (before going to the orphanage). I really want to see the scene where we overhear the conversation by the draw point in the library. But it won't come up.

I have looked at a lot of guides, and some say I can't get it because I missed the one library scene :(, but I got the girls asking Zell questions before going to Trabia Garden.

I also already talked to the girl outside the train station because that is the order eoff's walkthrough told me to do things in.

So, my questions are thus: Is it really impossible to get this part now, or am I doing something wrong? I have had no major scene after Trabia Garden, but did I mess things up by talking the the train station girl before trying to get this scene? Is it because I missed that one earlier discussion about the book? Can I still get the scene on disc 3?

Well, not if we're talking about a literal hot dog, cause food in such areas is a very bad idea. Now metaphorical hot dog on the other hand...

Well, never mind, I got the scene at the beginning of disc 3. No idea why I got a big whopping 0 scenes between the last 2 events, but all is moving forward in Zell's love life as it should. I am very relieved.

Should we edit part of the walkthrough to make it more consistent with what you're seeing?
