Square-Enix has released the third part of its Tour of Eorzea video series, where we can follow the developers’ characters throughout Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, for both the PC and PS3 versions. Check it out!

We get to see a lot of the new locations that only recently became available for phase 3 of the beta, and so for the first time are treated with the rich variety of the environments contained in Final Fantasy XIV. Not only are each of the towns and cities varied, but we see grasslands, forests, canyons, rivers, more arid regions, and, perhaps my favorite, a mountainous landscape full of snow. And rounded out with a chilling yet exciting encounter at the end:
