Spell Setup for each character

I was wondering what is the best spell setup for each character. Please list every single magic out not just pointing out what class or role they do.

I suggest giving spells that cure statuses or heal to Firion, as his average magic stats, decent HP, and permanent place in the party makes him a good fighter/healer hybrid. Give him Cure, Life, Barrier, Haste, and Wall. That way he can advance his spells throughout the game so they'll be super-high levels. Also, Warp.

Also, Maria should gets spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder as she is always in the part and can level them throughout the game. She also has a respectable magic stat for extra damage. Give her status magic like Stop, Curse, and Stone as well for the same reason.

Guy I'd keep magic-less except for maybe a Cure or Fire in case of emergencies.

I gave Maria basically every spell in the game, others were limited to Cure. I don't remember what spells I leveled the most though.

I gave Firion black magic like fire, thunder, and blizzard. Maria got white magic like cure, protect, and shell. Guy got status magic like mini, silence, and slow. I never bothered giving any of the fourth party members magic because they don't stay with you for long.

I make Maria the only spellcaster and keep her in the back row with no equipment (except the black robe and ribbon later on) , because the heavier the equipment the less powerful or successful a spell is. I only use the following spells: Cure, Fire, Haste, Berserk, Toad, Exit and Life. Once you get Toad you'll rarely over use Fire again, as Toad is the most powerful spell in the game. At a high enough level it can take out almost every enemy in one shot. For bosses she's gonna just heal and spam berserk.

You clearly haven't read the LP in which they toad all of the bosses. Every. Single. One.

If I remember correctly I'm for:

Gordon - Black Mage (all Black Magic)

Minwu - White Mage (all White Magic)

Scott - Red Mage (mixed low level Black and White Magic)


No one else has a mage class, no one else has spells! :D
