I like to swim. I'm not the best at it but I really like it. During the summer I have more of a reason to. I enjoy being in the water a lot. Unfortunately there are some creepy people at my apartment complex so I don't feel comfortable at our pool. Do you like to swim?

I absolutely love swimming. I'm not very good at it either, but it's a lot of fun. I love being in the water. It feels great.

Sadly, my body issues have led to me not being comfortable swimming, unless I can go skinny dip in a lake by myself. I don't even want to look at myself in a swimsuit :(.

Dude, swimming is otterly amazing. I do it all the damn time, it calms me down when I get stressed and keeps me in shape.

I would enjoy swimming if I didn't have a phobia of deep water. :(

I like swimming but a) I hate being in water, so coercing me to get in takes some time and b) open water or water that is not a contained swimming pool that I cannot see the bottom of scares the trout out of me. And I still check the floor to make sure there aren't sharks in the deep end. :stare:

I have met a person who cannot swim and is afraid of the ocean. This person lives on an island. It is only a matter of time.

I learned to swim when I was 2. In my family, knowing how to swim and swim well is a requirement. I loooove it. I was on my hometown's swim team the Summer after I learned to swim - when I was 3. Butterfly was my stroke, though I can't do it nearly as gracefully as the Olympic swimmers. I once got disqualified from a race 'cuz my ankles came too far apart. That was disappointing.

I generally dislike pools though. I never wear goggles, so the chlorine burns my eyes. I prefer lakes or rivers. I once swam across the Hiwassee river and back - like a 2 mile swim total.

Nope.

Swimming is terrible. Deep water is terrible. Getting water in my eyes is terrible. Oceans are terrible.

When I was a wee tyke I was forced to take swim lessons for a while and it was the absolute worst experience of my life. Never again.

...I guess I really am a Charmander and water is super effective :(

I do not swim, because I would drown.

I used to LOVE swimming as a kid. Not too much anymore. I actually have an indoor pool thanks to my association, put I haven't felt the desire to use it.

Swimming is cool, but I hate the smell of chlorine.

Maybe it is. I also don't recall hating the smell of chlorine before.

I love living in a house with a pool and tall hedges.
