It's summer. Let's talk about swimwear. What do you wear? What do you like most on guys? Discuss.

For me, I really like square trunks. Jammers are cool too. I'm not anti-speedo, but I don't have the confidence to pull it off.

What do you wear? What do you like on the opposite sex?

...what the heck are Jammers? I get trunks, but that's just, not a word we're common with. It's all 'togs' and 'boardies'

And yeah, I wear 'boardies' which are basically just, shorts, designed partially for fashion and partially for swimming, or something.

I hate swimwear because my tummy looks like a squashed loaf of bread.

Denmark

yeah, what i wear are essentially shorts made out of swimsuit material and with a mesh liner inside

Just a good old-fashioned halter. I wish I could wear strapless swimsuits because I think they are beautiful but it's not in the cards.

Also, I smurfing love high-waisted vintage bikinis (http://www.unique-vintage.com/black-monroe-piece-swimsuit-p-23219.html). Give me all of them.

I don't pay attention to what men wear in a bathing-suit setting because I'm not looking at them.

Bikinis!

I can't wait for beach season over here so I can wear mine! I have 3

45354

the floral one is really supportive and has removable straps, the green one was my birthday present from philip :jess: and it's Victoria's Secret! *squeeee* and the striped one is just a cheap one, that my boobs are too big for now. >.<

I have a bunch of cutesy lil bikini things.... From when I weighed 115.

Needless to say, I own no swimwear that fits and I don't go swimming anymore really, so there's that.

Oh that's what they wear in the Olympics.

I can dig it. Cuts down on water resistance or whatever, doesn't it? IDK. It's been many years since I've swam "competitively" and back then, it was still just the regular Speedo 1-piece suits & the "speedo" speedos.

I scored a Speedo 1 piece swim suit from like Sam's Club for $10 a long time ago. It was pretty sweet.

I still wear the speedos I had when I was 9. I think I'm really attractive as I always draw gasps of admiration. The problem is I keep going to beaches filled with horny gay police officers. Now, don't get me wrong, EoFF Liberal Squad, there's nothing wrong with being either horny or gay! I just wish it didn't manifest itself in them chasing me, grabbing and grasping at me or trying to slap handcuffs on me, the kinky little rascals.

I like to go without, if possible. Shocking, I know, but it feels so much nicer when the waves are stroking your jewels without any contraptions.

I'm really glad I don't swim because it means I don't have to wear swimwear.

I haven't worn bikinis since I gained weight again, I just wear one pieces. But you can find some extremely cute and sexy one piece swimsuits, and besides a bikini, I'm not self conscious about myself in a swimsuit.

Shorty and I have the exact same tastes in swimsuits, though.

One pieces make me feel like I'm 12 so I prefer to wear bikinis.

WEARING SWIM TRUNKS WITH AN OLD SHIRT ON TO POORLY COVER THE FACT THAT YOU ARE HORRIBLY OUT OF SHAPE REPRESENT

Just trunks for me, yeah. I don't know how the definition of trunks varies between countries, so I'll clarify that these ones go down to between mid-thigh and knee. I think. It's been a while since I wore them. Scotland and all that.

I'm really glad I don't swim because it means I don't have to wear swimwear.

I don't own a single piece of swimwear.

For the purposes of this, swimwear is identical to 'beachwear'.

Until last summer, the only "swim trunks" I owned were bright orange, with yellow accenting flames. Sixteen-year-old me thought it was a good look.

I rarely go to any beaches, though I'm walking distance from one...and I live on an island. Funny how that works.

My new apartment will be 30 miles from the beach and the complex has its own swimming pool, so I may actually go swimming more again.

And typical lower-thigh-length swim trunks for me.

Our new house is not far from the water, so I've been getting a fair bit of ocean action recently, my togs are pretty daring, I think :D

Normal trunks. Do people actually wear the tiny shorts and jammers to the beach or pool? o_O

I bought one of these last year:

Wore it once before it got too cold, and then I got pregnant so I'm way too fat for it this year. Maybe next year. ;_;

Not summer here. I have nothing fancy whenever I go swimming and I'm usually the only one with a one piece similar to the attached photo.

I'm not sure if I posted it on the Picture thread.

Nobody in Nashville swims, because in Tennessee, it's usually raining. Like, always.

Nobody really goes outside at all. This is probably why TN is the fattest state in the union.

I don't swim, therefore I have no need for such things.

There, spoiled your sport, rained on your parade, and if you need me I'll be disillusioning children to the existence of Santa Claus and various other imaginary constructs.

I haven't been anywhere where swimwear is the appropriate attire for something like 10-15 years. Back then, I just had a relatively baggy pair of swimming trunks. Incidentally, that's not necessarily the best idea. They did dry awesomely fast, however.

I have no idea what I'd wear if I somehow found myself at a pool or beach these days. Probably an anorak. I think I'm (probably pointlessly) far too insecure about my appearance. Heck, I generally refuse to wear even shorts out in public, let alone rip off my shirt and gallivant across the beach.

I wear my board shorts as every day shorts during summer, so I have a couple pairs. As with all my shorts they are no higher than my kneecaps though. When I swim I just wear the shorts, I haven't worn a rashie since I was 12, and I stopped wearing wetsuits when I stopped properly body boarding.

Jiro

Please tell me they're at least semi-long boardies. I'm not a fan of seeing all these guys who buy boardies that are like 3-4 sizes too small and they're basically ass pants that show off their junk...

Pheesh
08-05-2013, 06:02 AM
Nah, you misunderstand, I only buy shorts that cover the entirety of my knees and then some. I hate those mid-thigh length shorts as well, man.

I have yet to ever find a one piece to fit properly, so I always just go the bikini route. Though I am a fan of some of those semi-bikini-but-still-connected things (I literally have no idea what to call them).

I practically live in the water whenever possible in the summer, so I usually have a good amount of swimwear to rotate through.
