FFX|X-2 HD Remaster to Feature Newly Arranged Music

I seriously hope this applies to X-2 as well. Nothing discouraged me from running through new game pluses for completion percentage more than X-2's insufferable music. Holy trout, it was that bad.

But overall I'm looking forward to this addition to the HD remasters. X has some of the best music in the series IMO, so I can't wait to see what they've done with it.

Just in case we prefer the original soundtrack, hopefully there will be an option to listen to that instead of the arranged version.

I didn't mind a lot of the music. But oh my gosh I loathed the battle theme. Completely. Worst battle theme in the series.

EDIT: I mean FFX-2's battle theme. FFX's wasn't great, but nowhere near as bad as the sequel.

Not too confident about this. FFX's music was one of its strong points, in my opinion.

Not sure if want. I loved FFX's music. (X-2's was a bit hit and miss. Get back here, Nobuo!)

Definitely something I'd want to be left as an option. But TBH this seems like much more effort than S-E are likely to go to in the first place.

Loved FFX's music so much. Ideally I'd hope they would leave that and do something with X-2's. Not that I thought it was bad but it could have been better. Plus, the tracklist needs to be expanded.

Seeing as it's August and they're just now announcing this, I'll be amazed if they do manage to somehow get the thing released this year.
