I realised that I haven't made a thread or really posted on EoFF for quite some time but I have a question for all of you wonderful people. Since I started work 18 months ago and have had actual disposable income my PS3's game library has expanded quite substantially. With this current console generation coming to a close I have actively been buying and playing games that are regarded as "essentials" or "must haves" from the current generation. As a result of this I have experienced some awesome games (eg the Mass Effect Series) and some not so awesome games (eg Shadows of Darkness eugh) so I have decided that I require some help in my search and here I am. In order to avoid anybody repeating the names of any titles I already own or have played I will list now list every PS3 game I own or have according to my PS3's trophy list:

Final Fantasy XIII-2 - This game is just a heck of a lot of fun, unless you really don't like the battle system from XIII.

Nier - Some of the best music I've ever heard in a game. Story and game play is great. Graphics aren't very good, but everything else more than makes up for that. Also, there are added things to the story on a second play through which vastly changes your perspective of events in the story, and it's amazing.

Valkyria Chronicles.

Go for The 2009 GOTY candidates: Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Ass. Creed 2, and Arkham Asylum. None of the originals are required to play, only go back if you really enjoyed the ones I listed.

Play GT5 off and On. Beware- The install is long and it installs as you go for a while.

I aIso like Killzone 2 try Playing it with the HUD off

God of War III is the only one I have that isn't on your list. Though the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection is good if you didn't play those on PS2.

I've got two suggestions for you I think a lot of people on this forum will agree on:

1: Journey
2: Dark Souls

Judging from a few of your titles (Deus Ex, Hitman: Absolution) you don't mind a bit of exploring, creative problem solving, a challenge, and "smart gameplay" in general. It's why I dare to recommend Dark Souls to you. Don't be afraid, it's not that hard. :greenie:
