Actually my only fan, if you don't count the one on my motherboard.

My computer's rear circulation fan was making an awful noise, so I disconnected it from the motherboard. I'm running my computer with the side panel off and a four foot tall fan pointed at it. My sister was going to get rid of it, and asked me if I'd try to fix the oscillator. So until I figure out how, I'm using it as a fan for the computer.

Not only was it making my hands really cold, but it was really loud. Up until now, settings "2" and "1" (medium and low) have not worked.

I just tried turning it down, and it worked for the first time.

Now it's nice and quiet in here.

I have a giant tower fan in here. I bet it could whoop your fan's ass.

It would be more like performing the euthanasia my fan is begging for to end its torment...

Seriously, this thing is on its last legs.

I just give my laptop to my father-in-law anytime it breaks.

Get it back in about the same time as I would if I sent it to a store and it costs me nothing. XD

So how can I fix a fan inside my laptop?

Is it just clogged or broken?

Good gods no. It's only a 15.6 inch screen.
