Favorite Spell

High-level magic is obviously a favorite choice, and Holy and Meteor are probably my favorites. I tend to stick with Shiva/Ice magic as a favorite element, though, and watching those huge Blizzaga ice shards form and shatter is completely satisfying. (FFVIII magic referenced in this post.)

What's your favorite spell and from which game?

Ultima from FFVI. It starts small and engulfs you, like you're getting sucked in.

Guys, guys.. We all know that the best spell from ANY Final Fantasy game period.. Is Selphie's limit breaking capability of casting Meteor, like, three times in a row. What could be more satisfying that THAT? Forget Sephiroth, Selphieroth is the REAL danger.

For some reason, I always use the "Old" spell. O: I like to use unusual spells like Old, and generally speaking, I love using Time magic. Cruel and unusual punishment. :D And it's fun to use.

Edit: To answer the title, I love using Return. Nothing better than being able to "start over" a horrific battle.

Flare has always been my favorite spell. It was tossed aside in FF8 for my love for Meltdown.

I love Vanish from FF6, and not just because it's abusive with Doom. I like Vanishing my own guys, too. And Vanish-other status effect spells when I feel like it, because the game is easy enough to not want to Vanish-Doom. Plus, of course, the Doom component is nice to have when I feel like it.

I like haste and regen! For damage I tend to stick to melee (or ultimate attacks/limits/overdrives, etc.)
