So I was wondering if I missed out on the character remake yet? I know they were going to do it in Phase 4 (which I never got around to playing) so what's the score? Do I still have a chance to change my 1.0 character?

Also now the game is live (for those who pre-ordered) are the classes still region locked?

Nope, you didn't miss out. You can still change it the first time you log in with that character (some people are missing it because it's not very obvious, you can change all aspects of your character just before you login with it).

The game isn't live yet, but the classes still determine where you start. This is because the class guilds are situated in different areas of the world.

It was massively obvious for me, Rostum. I had 2-3 alerts pop up on my screen explaining it. xD

Yeah it was hard to miss, but when I looked at the beta forums a lot of people seemed to have messed it up.

A number of people never got those notifications and could not important character profiles created in the benchmark. I was among these (no notifications, could not import), but I realized by clicking around I could still make the changes I want. They're giving people another one-time chance who screwed it up.

Given that the game comes out on Tuesday, you will certainly have a hard time finding collectors edition copies (which sold out in a lot of places). Early access starts tomorrow as well, so at this point you may as well pick up a copy at launch.

I bought the digital version on Amazon this afternoon and got early access via it.
