Announcing the Starting Time of Early Access! (08/22/2013)

We are pleased to announce that Early Access for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will begin on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 a.m. (PDT)!

* Participants of Early Access are eligible to play straight into official service, which will begin on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
* Those who have either registered a pre-order code or fulfilled the requirements for Legacy status are eligible to participate in Early Access.
* The game client from Beta Test phase 4 (open beta test) can also be used as the game client for Early Access. You do not need to uninstall the Beta Test phase 4 client and install anything else.

There is a 1 GB launcher update, so even if you participated in Beta 4, you will need to download it.

Don't log in yet. They're still not up.

EDIT: 5:20: You can log in, but only through repeated attempts so far. If your launcher blacks or whites out with an error, just reload the client. If your Play or Start buttons grey out, just restart the game. If you get in and get an error that your realm list isn't updating, just spam Start and Exit until you get a queue. The queue goes by pretty quickly. At that point, I would not log out for any reason.

EDIT: 9:20: They came up for most people about ten minutes after I posted. I was busy playing.
