I posted this on my FB, but thought there would be a bigger gaming audience here.

WayForward got lots of publicity recently for developing for DuckTales Remastered (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck_Tales_Remastered#DuckTales:_Remastered), and you children are probably looking forward to the upcoming Adventure Time game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventure_Time:_Explore_the_Dungeon_Because_I_DON%27T_KNOW!).

But what I want to draw your attention to is their kickstarter for Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero).

Shantae has been director Matt Bozon's pet project for over a decade, but as a small studio, WayForward has had to put up with producing a lot of licensed titles. Every chance they get, though, there's another beautiful quirky platformer featuring this half-genie girl.

I've always been interested in playing the Shantae games. I'll have to try one of the older games out someday.

Nice! I've loved Shantae. One of the best made GB games. I was sad that I never got a chance to play the DS one. But I love and support the pursuit of the series
