I'll put my drawings in this thread I guess.

This character is Sable Shift.

And this is the main character of the Platforming game I'm working on right now.

Criticism is always appreciated. If I don't find out what's wrong with my work I wont get any better.
I'm not that great with a pen or pencil, they are much harder to use in my opinion than pastels.

Nice drawings, HC! :) I've got no real criticism for you, but I think the neck looks a little too long for the girl, and you might want to lower the bottom of her lip just a tad. It looks like she has really thin lips

And is that another drawing I see on the other side of that paper?

Yeah, I messed up the lip when I went back over it in pen. The image you see is actually an erased picture. I couldn't get rid of the mark.
Edit: I looked at the notebook and I was wrong there is an incomplete drawing behind it of one of the few npc's in the game.

Here's two pastel drawings I did about 3 years ago.

This one took about 25 minutes, I call her Zoe.
Unfortunately, Zoe spent 2 years rolled up in a tube in a hot attic, so she's taken a bit of damage.

This one took about 45 minutes, it was my first time drawing an elephant. He doesn't have a name.

I think at least 90% blocking people with art is proportion. It's all in the eye. This is one thing you genuinely possess, so this is impressive work. The critique I'd give that could really benefit you is to make the graphite more fluid. Express more of the lines you give these creations more of a 'whip' when it comes to your technique of using the pencil, instead of making it look scraggly looking (if there is such a word!). I'm sure it will stand to you.

Overall, great work. Made my day better seeing the trusty graphite put to good use. :)

It's a dirty habit I picked up from an old art teacher, I can't get rid of it, basically it means my art lacks confidence.
Thank you, I'm going to try harder to not do my scribbling thing

My signature is the first thing I've ever done in Photoshop. It looks pretty awful, but I like it because It was my first try.
