What do you do with your weekends?

As of late, I have been very lazy. Earlier in the summer, I would spend Friday night to Sunday evening out with my friend, but she moved away and I have since become a hermit!

I spend most of my weekends relaxing. Sometimes I will help my mom with projects - she's been repainting her kitchen and repainting furniture and stuff. Sometimes I will take photos and write and bake. If we're being honest, though, 80% of my time is probably spent marathoning tv shows or movies.

Lately, mostly been packing, playing games, or watching movies with you. Been hanging out quite a bit with a good friend of mine too though since he's been back in town for the last few weeks and we hadn't really seen each other much in the last two years with him living in Vancouver.

Honestly, I think part of my not doing much recently is that I'm still getting used to the idea that I can literally just leave the house without saying anything to anybody and do whatever I want. It's still a bit weird.

I want to be lazy and lounge around but the boyfriend always makes me do stuff. I just want to be lazy and not have to do jack but we always have to go somewhere. I just want to play vidya games D:

Drink, watch t.v., drink, play card games, de-hangover (read: moar beer), drink, t.v. , vidya games...

if my kid is here, cleaning parties, cooking, t.v., park, etc.

It varies week by week. Chilling out, watching tv and reading. Visiting friends. Visiting parents. Getting drunk! Cinema. Dinner. It really depends on the time of year, weather and money! If it's miserable outside, been a busy week or talk few days before payday, I don't want to go anywhere.

Been too busy every weekend for the past few months. And that doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. ._. Maybe in a month's time we can have a lazy weekend. ;_;

It varies. Sometimes my "weekend" is in the middle of the week, so I'll use that time to run errands or do art stuff. Last weekend I was sick, but I also had work and volunteer work to do - that was no fun!

I actually get a three-day weekend this week! Today I mopped my hardwood floors, did some research, made potatoes au gratin, drank the last of my Blue Bottle coffee and sat around in chambray and dior pretending to be a Frenchie while watching Gargoyles and looking at picture books. I'm about to leave my house to go to a reading by Margaret Atwood with some friends.

This weekend will also involve lunch with my family, and a trip to the beach with some friends. Also, some planning.

I've never been a huge Atwood fan. It would be interesting to go to a reading by her though.

Anyways, I spend my weekends working at the craft store, and then I usually have to do a bunch of hard labor right when I get back home, too. When I can, I watch Netflix and/or play video games.

On alternating weekends I babysit my nephew and niece, and this is one such weekend. Usually we stay at home and watch tv then go outside for a little bit when it's nice. We also play a lot, cry a lot, and get really dirty. I do the grocery shopping every Sunday and usually bake something that day too. Lately my free weekends have been pretty busy with babyshower planning, but that's done so now I can start planning for birthdays and holidays. And spend more time on EoFF and knitting/crocheting and wondering what I should be doing with my life.

Hang with friends, get drunk, see girlfriend, watch NFL Redzone at my folk's house (during NFL season), generally hang with my folks (on Sunday's when it is the NFL off season), go catch a movie, go to a Bears game (parents have season tickets, obviously during NFL season only), video games, been helping someone playtest a pen and paper game lately, and anything random that comes up (going to see a Between The Buried And Me concert next Saturday).

I work on weekends. :(

Same :(

Sometimes I get lucky and get at least one weekend day off, though. I get this Sunday off!

I do the same thing I do any other day I have off. I play games all day.

My weekends are typically spent panicking over getting my review done on time on Monday.

Depends what I feels...

Maybe some work on side projects or maybe some (a lot) of recreational time that may or may not involve margaritas or tequila.

We like to be fatties on weekends, and usually have takeout either Friday or Saturday night. The rest of the time is spent watching movies. Sunday is my fav though, Sunday one of us makes a massive roast dinner which is always super tasty and well deserved after a hard day of doing absolutely nothing.

Usually on Saturdays we go for a walk to the local markets which are always amazing and you can pick up all your veg and fruit for super cheap, and it's a nice afternoon out :D

FFXIV and Star Trek: The Next Generation is pretty much how Danielle and I spend all our hometime lately, unless someone is over. Which is surprisingly often lately - this weekend is the first time we've not gone out or had someone over for something like 5-6 weeks. Although I was still out on Friday night drinking for a work do, so if that counts, I'm still waiting for that elusive boring weekend at home (which I do love so much).
