I would love to see more of his journey with braska and auron. Seems like they would have had some fun times.

He's kinda like the redneck anti hero of Final Fantasy...or one of them.

Jecht is a great character. Honestly, I wish we could see more of him, because he has some of the best character development in the game.

Jecht is a pretty awesome character despite kind of playing a background role. Like, not everybody can completely dupe the entirety of (Dream) Zanarkand into thinking there were more Sublimely Magnificent Jecht Shots. The guy was shrewd and talented and although he was a bit of a shit parent, he did love his kid and tried to look out for him even after he got fucking teleported into another dimension.

Jecht reminds me of my own father to an extent, a hardass but genuinely a nice guy underneath who wants the best for his son. Granted, my dad wasn't THAT bad, but I can identify with the relationship there regardless. I would honestly love if they made a prequel following Braska's pilgrimage with Jecht and Auron even if it was just a movie instead of a game. I don't see it happening, sadly.

He reminds me of one of my best friends Dad, so when he came on screen I'd always crack jokes like, "Hey, there's your dad again. So that's where he went this time!" Jecht is definitely one of my favorite characters of this game, and might possibly be my favorite. I like Aron too, but he was way too serious, while Jecht brought a little bit of everything to the table.
