December 2013 Ciddies Speeches thread!

WIPE AWAY THOSE TEARS PRINCESSES! It's time to give your speech! Okay well you haven't won anything yet but we need to introduce our readers to the candidates before hand! So that's where speeches come into play.

Preferably, we wont want you writing a speech you're nominated in. But if it comes down to it, if we don't have any speeches for whatever award, I may let you do it if you're nominated for it.

We'll have some color coordination for productivity sake.

Red = unclaimed
Yellow = in progress
Green = all done!

Now how you write the speech is up to you of course. You can list off the nominated members and give brief blurbs or you can give a speech about the award itself, it's all up to you! We just want em done! PM all speeches to me, Freya. (http://home.eyesonff.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=11514) Once I receive and we make sure it hey it's an editor thing alright?. I'll toss them to Award Princess so we can get this show on the road! If you will be active during the actual revelations and want to post the speech yourself, just send a message about that as well and we'll coordinate with the Pretty Princess Cid!

He is indeed in the Fat Chocobos, and I don't think I've seen his face yet, but now that I think about it he is a bit like a Brazilian version of Levian. I predict that Raine, Valerna and co were behind this one. Did not expect. xD

PM him, he should hopefully reply. If he doesn't, nag me to nag him via IRC as I'm not able to from work and will probably forget by the time I'm home.

I would have liked to contribute toward speeches this year, but I feel like I have my hands in a lot of pots right now and don't want to commit to something that I potentially cannot manage.

If you guys are really strapped, feel free to reach out to me and I will try to throw something together. Otherwise, I am going to have to pass this year. :( I am sure that the contributing speech-writers will do splendidly! We have a lot of talented writers here and I look forward to their creativity with this round of Ciddies.

It's important to remember also that there's still a good 16+ hours between voting closing and things kicking off, so you can get stuff done last minute. Just try not to leave it to the last minute.

Since revelations are happening in 12 hours, I have a few hours before I go to bed if there's need for any emergency speeches. I'll probably be up for about another 3-4 hours because of my ear.
