I used e-cigarettes until I put mine through the washer. I greatly dislike actual cigarettes but if I get drunk enough I will social smoke from peer pressure and then hate myself in the morning for it and my throat and lungs will punish me all day.

I smoke cloves on occasion (once a year or so lately) for XXXLuxuryXXX. Also, hookah is awesome and fun to do with friends! I have a two foot (maybe three foot?) hookah named Green Dragon that is soon to be rehomed because he doesn't get used often enough.

Hookah is something that I've wanted to try for a while but never really gotten around to doing. The only hookah bar that I know about is on the other side of town but there are corner stores that sell hookah equipment near my house.

Passion fruit sounds pretty tempting right now.

Hookah at home can be fun enough, but hookah is more fun at a hookah bar. The atmosphere is just so wonderful.

My friends have asked me to go with them before but I've never taken them up on it.

I absolutely can't stand other people smoking inside. It drives me up the wall to no end.

But I smoke when I drink. I have to be pretty tipsy though to really want to and if I'm really drunk, I'll smoke a lot.

That's all gonna change though 'cuz apparently a pack of smokes are like $8 in NYC even on base. Soooo yeah.

Smoking is awful and I'm glad normal human beings have stopped doing it. Some day, maybe all of Asia will catch up with that trend, and the remaining dregs in the West will die out. At this point, basically only people who are old, very poor, uneducated, or most likely some combination of them smoke.

I smoked socially when I was like 14ish because of really dumb stupid reasons. Then I started getting the urge to smake when I was alone and I said "nope, not doing an addiction" and stopped.

Know a couple I convinced to buy there own tobacco vs buying it by the pack. They buy it by the kilo now and have an online shot where they sell pipes and tobacco that the make/blend themselves, along with making youtube videos of them smoking. They call smoking a hobby and not a habit, and a hobby that he even told me once "I want to make money off my favorite hobby, and not spend money on it."

I buy tobacco too, but it's a filthy addiction. Still, if you are going to smoke you might as well buy your own. I spend just shy of 100 a year blending my own VS the 3000 bucks a year or so a smoke by the pack person does. I would probably have quit years ago though if never began that route. It may be cheap, but still terrible for you.

Due to allergies I'm unable to smoke even if I wanted to and since I have asthma I'm not willing to take a risk on my lungs with something that is already unhealthy to a set of strong ones.

I hate being around cigarette smoke. My body doesn't like it at all and I just end up feeling miserable. I really like the smell of some pipe tobacco though. And hookah doesn't bother me too much. I just have to generally walk away from where the wind is blowing the smoke.

That being said, I don't smoke. I think the idea of smoking is pretty disgusting and I've never had any interest in it. I've been with people to hookah bars quite a few times just to hang out and chat, though. Hookah and pipe smoking were big at my college so I'd usually hang out with my roommates outside and chat while they did those things as well.

Doesnt tabacco carried by the smoke get absorbed into your lungs before you exhale? Isnt that the point? Im not sure about the particulars of how smoke and the body works.

No, the tobacco isn't absorbed. The nicotine is absorbed through your lungs, and the tar clogs up your stuff, but the tobacco mostly remains on the outside. And ingesting isn't the same as absorbing anyway :p.

I had asthma growing up and my mother chain smoked around me all the time and it made life terrible. I dated a smoker for a bit and making out with him hurt afterwards because my throat would close up and get all gross. My stepmom used to smoke and just being in her house for more than an hour made you smell like smoke too.

Tobacco from a pipe? Sure, depending upon the blend. I've got no issue with actually smoking a few different things here and there, but the shit that gets put into cigars and cigarettes is fucking disgusting. I won't even kiss a smoker if she's had one in the last hour.
