I'm surprised people theorize about his identity so much! It seems pretty clear that it's the same Gogo from FFV, but I like reading all the fan theories, too.

He most likely is, and that is the end of that, but he/she is just so friggin random and out of nowhere. It can be fun to debate. Oh, I forgot I once thought he was Banon or Arvis too.
