We've been discussing reviving this EoFF tradition in the events committee forum. I think instead of the twenty questions format of previous instalments of this we'll probably be doing an "ask me anything" approach. I may ask people to submit a brief introduction to start things off but other than that people seem to think it's best to keep things pretty open-ended.

I'm probably going to want to get this started after the new year. People are too busy over the holidays.

So I guess we can use this as a general signup/discussion thread. If you're interested in participating, post about it and I'll compile a list of participants. You'll have to commit to showing up and answering questions during your scheduled week but the time commitment probably won't be too strenuous.

I'll try to keep this running as long as possible. I'm planning to do one of these each week, starting January 1, and in the order listed. I'll PM each person roughly a week before their thing starts to allow them to contribute introductory text and make sure they're still able to participate. If you want me to sketch out roughly when you'll have to participate I can do that but it may take some time.

I'll still take signups but I can't promise to keep this running forever so it will be with the caveat that if I no longer have the ability/desire to keep this running it may not happen unless I can find someone else to hand it off to.

I may or may not continue taking sign-ups past this point. It remains to be seen how long I have the patience to keep doing this. If I decide not to continue I'll probably hand the whole thing off to someone else, though.

Can't think of anything else offhand but we'll see how things go.

Just so you know, I think I'm done accepting new applications for this. I'm pretty sure I'll finish off all the people who have signed up so far but I'm guessing that if people haven't signed up by now they probably don't care that much. If newcomers end up wanting to participate then I guess someone else can step up to the plate.

I have decided I am probably going to hold mine in there so I can discuss certain issues I don't wish to mention in the fora that are open to search engines. Since the Eyes on You archive is not visible to the public, this means that anyone who wishes to view your thread will at all times need to be a registered member of the forum.

Also, I may contradict my earlier indication and continue doing these indefinitely. We'll see how fatigued I feel. If I get bored, Alive-Girl has offered to take this over, so in either case it's not going anywhere. It looks like the remaining sign-ups before I said I was stepping down will take seven weeks (since it looks like Minami and Fuzakeru are never going to message me about their participation) and that seems sooner than I was expecting somehow.
