SE is Teasing something.... again...

As we all know by now, Square Enix loves to tease things. Usually we get really excited about it and it turns out to be some mobile game that wont even be released in the EU, NA, or AU regions that most of our fans on Eyes on FF are from. Guess what is happening?

Square Enix is teasing another game on this new webpage (http://destiny-viii.jp/)with a simple 1.8.2014 logo. This time though we already know it's a mobile game because it's in conjunction with social media games developer Gloop (http://gloops.com/en/).

Now of course we will have to wait until Jan 8th to figure out what it is. The background image has a bit of a Final Fantasy feel to it but Gloop tends to have some very stylized art so it could be anything. The site refers to it as "Destiny 8" or "Destiny VIII".

What is your opinion on yet another mobile game by SE? What's your opinion on SE an its love for teaser sites? Do you think teasers like this should be reserved for bigger titles to build hype? Share your thoughts!

Destiny VIII makes me think of FFVIII which makes me think of Triple Triad. A mobile triple triad game could be fun if that really were what it was (which I doubt it).

I don't play mobile games, so this doesn't interest me too much. I also hate Square's use of teaser sites. I think teaser sites should really be left to something bigger than a mobile game that more people would actually want. Maybe these games are big in Japan, though.
