Was Niale a message sent from God who has now returned to whence he came?

I guess it was funny if you're 14 and 4chan is new to you or something.

I leave for a few hours and it comes to this.

You nerds had better Americanize yourselves fast as you can so you don't go the same way he did.

Is it safe to ask what happened? I know you guys are always mum about who did what and only people witness to the event really ever know, outside of staff. But then again, there's never a thread about it either, which I find amusing, regardless

I think it was more spontaneous as a result of when he asked for the ban as he did nothing way worse than some other posts here.

I don't think it's appropriate to make threads about banned members. :mymelontd:

Del is right. I just want to quickly address some things before they become rumours. We do not ban people lightly and in any case of someone being banned, there's a lot of things that get deleted by moderators due to its offensive nature that regular members do not see. Permanently banning someone is a last resort and they will usually have been given a number of chances to start following the rules, and we do patiently try to explain to people what we expect of people and try to help them to become better members. If they carry on being jerks then there's only so many times you can say "Please stop doing X" before it's evident that people have no intention of changing and their continued presence merely ruins the forums for others.

I think 99% of you understood my post was just a bit of fun at the end of a long saga and posting :banme: doesn't really get you banned! :p Outside of spambots, advertisers and second accounts, we only permanently banned one user in the whole of 2013, and that user deliberately posted porn in order to get themselves banned. As a fun trivia question, see if you can figure out who it was!
