Remember all that trouble I had?

Well no more!

I moved to Arkansas and have been living here for a while now, it's really slow and where I am is pretty remote (we have DISH INTERNET AHHHHHHHHHHHH) but it's really nice and serene, if you have me on fb I post pictures now and again of the surroundings.

I've been able to finally get my life back on track, went to school in the summer, and am on the Deans list, which is great.

So let's see how to make this a general topic...

What's the longest time you went without being on EOFF? Or seeing someone you love, like, friend, etc?

I'll have to find one, I had a bunch saved on my HD. It's literally miles and miles between houses and the person I'm living owns a ton of land so it's really nice, but waaaayyy too quiet.

I'm glad you're in a much happier place now!

My longest break from EoFF was pretty much from 2005-2008. I'd still come back and check in a couple times a year, but I was not present often. I still visited chat, though, so I don't know if it still counts.

i usually just pay more attention to the chat then i do the forums, which i feel bad for i should participate more but it's easier to talk to people on chat to me i guess, plus i don't have time to keep up with threads i've started lol

I've gone several months without EoFF at some point.

I joined back before the forum moved, but my join date says 2002. I can't remember if I had to rejoin, but I'm pretty sure I didn't. Anyway, from that time until around 2012 I made less than 10 posts. So around at least 10 years? :D

Uhh, I was gone from EoFF from 2008-2012. I stopped in here and there, but I don't consider that actually coming back. But here I am now. A moderator on a Final Fantasy forum,

Livin' the dream.

Glad you're doing ok.

I probably went a year or thereabouts at various times. I dunno. If we're talking about message boards as a whole, not so much.

this brings me untold joy.

I been away from EoFF at points. Kind of hard to say you were away when you spent a lot of time visiting people from EoFF in that time but w/e

One time I went two weeks without eating meat because of medical reasons. Longest two weeks of my life.

I was away from the forum for 1+ year in 2000 hence why my join date is 2001 and not 1999 like it should be :mad2: other than that a few months here or there.

A month or two in 2002/2003, but nothing more significant than a couple of weeks while on vacation since. Yeah, I have a problem.

Probably up to a year at some point - I think I go through peaks and troughs of activity. I always end up coming back though. I'd probably be awful at quitting smoking if I took it up and then tried to give it up!
