Collecting notes like these from my own children is one of my biggest desires in life.

Collecting notes like these from my own children is one of my biggest desires in life.Well, there you go. Definitive proof that they are mean, and not funny. Thread over, I guess.
I think Shlup's kids might leave the one about liking wine too much based on her sig

My daughter leaves me notes all the time -now- and she's only 6. LMAO..
I was sitting outside talking to my mom and she threw a paper ball at my head from inside that said "MOM COME INSIDE RIGHT NOW."
and then another one that said "I DO NOT LIKE YOU." (She obvs -really- wanted me to go inside and play with her)..
I couldn't help but giggle incessantly at that.
But then before we'd leave to drop her off with my sister, she'd draw a picture with a little note saying "I love you mommy" and leave it under my pillow for me to find later. She's so incredibly thoughtful and sweet...
Roflz I used to leave notes saying I was gonna run away when I was like 7.
And I would pack my Spotty Dotty suitcase and pull on my coat and gloves (it was winter) and I specifically told my mom I was running away, but she paid no attention to me.
So I walked right out the front door. She didn't come after me.
I made it to the woods in our back yard and stayed there for like an hour, but then it got colder so I gave up and went back inside.
My mom -still- had not a clue.

Wait wut. I don't understand how a dog poos on your head?! Why was your head even near it's butt?
Some of these are mean. Like the one by Brooke -- she sounds like a brat -- but many of the others are just clever and honest with a dash of naivety.

Sounds like a note I'd leave while lurking around in my white house robe. Requiescat en pace

In the defense of #4, come on, you gave the kid a squirt gun. What did you think was going to happen?

Kids are just awful no matter what they're doing or writing. But I'm a mean, befuddled old man. My dream is to one day have a yard I can sit in and yell at them from.

My kid's already saying this.
Except beer.
All these years, I've been referring to alcoholic beverages as "Grown Up Juice"...
... Then -someone- (my sister) comes along and ruins it.
My kid might write this about me someday...
