Cosplay appreciation thread

The Yuna cosplay thread in the FFX forum inspired this. I think a few of you know this already, but yes, I do cosplay. I have 3 costumes that I've made; Android 18, Lucca from Chrono Trigger and Midna from LoZ: Twilight Princess as her imp form. I had the most fun with Midna, Lucca is probably my best one and Android 18 I made because it was stupidly easy and I wanted more than one cosplay for Youmacon a couple years ago. And I had blonde short bob. I "cosplayed" as Commissioner Gordon once, I should have kept that coat:

I might dress up for Halloween as Jubliee or the new Ms. Marvel, but as you can see, I'm pretty lazy! It seems like cosplay requires a lot of sewing, which I am terrible at.

I do remember seeing that article! Also forgot to mention, I don't sew. You just have to think of more creative solutions. I've thrifted a lot of things, Lucca's vest is made out of a karate gi with the sleeves cut off and then I dyed it orange. Both helmets I made from loads of random things. I want to remake the helmet for Lucca and put in an LED light with a blue resin cast for that blue light on it.

The best thing about the Gundam cosplay is you can easily turn it into a Solid Snake cosplay.
