No seriously, it's a thing. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETP-gjGJOME)

Nanomachines.

On a serious note, my faith in Kojima has reached an all time low.

I'd assume it's non-canon, like a lot of the missions in Peace Walker (Dinosaurs! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwoCvryu1n4)). The first part of MGSV, Ground Zeroes, is mission-based like in Peace Walker, and it seems like the second part, Phantom Pain, is open-world. So it makes sense that they'd put non-sensical things like that in the mission-based section of the game. I actually really like it, mainly because I really enjoyed Snatcher, and I appreciate the references the two series have for one another.

Xbox exclusive mission? Guess I'll just watch it in a Let's Play video someday since I'll never play it unless it goes multiplatform later.

Honestly, as someone who doesn't look back on MGS4 as fondly as I did when it came out, I have to say that what I've seen of the new MGS has brought back some faith in Kojima. At the very least, it seems to have recaptured that expansive playground feel that MGS2 had, and MGS3 hit out of the park.

Yeah... not interested. If I get this game it will most likely be on the PS3.

So that's what happened to David Hayter.

Also, Raiden has time travel capabilities now?

I don't think this is part of the regular game.

I wonder if PlayStation will have its own exclusive mission to compete with this one.

If the PS3 gets its own exclusive DLC, I wonder what other random Kojima game it'll reference? Policenauts would be interesting. Or maybe Boktai?

Zone of the Enders, we'll fight jehuty while piloting a metal gear ray or something.

Or even better, pilot Jehuty and destroy metal gears that have become sentinent and gone rogue.

I want this game more than MGSV now.

The PlayStation one is Solid Snake in a Shadow Moses-esque base:

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes - Deja Vu Trailer (PS4/PS3 Exclusive) TRUE-HD QUALITY - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnR385FVFgQ)

It's the blocky, somewhat awkward Classic Snake model from MGS4.

Okay, that's cool, but not as cool as Zone of the Enders.

yeah it's not nearly as cool, but still all right i guess

Maybe he finally snapped. Maybe he's gone off the deep end and we can't get him back.

I have mixed feelings on the PlayStation exclusive. On one hand I like the blast from the past, on the other hand blatant fan service is blatant and fan servicey.

I guess that makes sense. Already seen, and never seen. :P

I was going to be shocked and appalled but then I don't really know what I was expecting.

EH, these exclusives are just fun little throwbacks.

To me MGSV looks like a full return to form for Kojima since MGS3 *knocks on wood*. This is coming from someone who liked Peace Walker though, so we'll see.

If it means anything, MGS4 seemed like the game Kojima didn't want to make, whereas he seems REALLY invested in V.
