I call her that because she reminds me of a seagull.

Anyway so yesterday I was working at the pharmacy doing my pharmacy things like usual and the cashier comes up to me with a patient's bag and says "this lady is going out to her car to get her new insurance card, can you rerun this when she comes back with it?" And I'm like yeah sure I can do that. While I'm waiting for her I start to help a customer pick out diabetic supplies. She comes back while I'm still helping the other guy, and I let her know I'll be with her shortly. I guess that wasn't soon enough because about a minute later I turn around and she's gone. I don't see her anywhere. So I help the next customer who has brought me fourteen new perscriptions like holy god this poor sap is taking twenty three pills a day. Anyway it takes me awhile to sort it all out and verify that the doctor hasn't written anything retarded like this doctor always does and in the middle of that she comes back and makes this angry flapping motion with her arms. I wish I could convey how silly it looked. I tell her I can help her after I finish with this customer if she'll just wait here. She goes off on me like "why do you need my card, I didn't have to bring it last month." I tell her last month was December and now it's a new year and her old information was rejected as no longer valid. She leaves again. Finally the pharmacist flags her down and deals with it personally. He manages to get her card from her at least before she flies off yet again.

About twenty minutes later she comes up to my counter and says she wants a flu shot. I hand her a questionnaire to fill out and tell her it will be twenty minutes. Another angry flapping motion. "I need to go now! I need to take my medicine! Can you make it faster?" She tries to hand me back the questionnaire. "Ma'am we need to process this like a prescription for any other medication. And I need you to fill that questionnaire out so we know if it's safe for you to have that shot. We'll try to do this as fast as we can but I expect that to be about twenty minutes." I mean christ on a stick we don't just inject things into your bloodstream no questions asked. She makes a face and goes "I've been waiting already! You can just give me the shot!" And I say to her, "Ma'am you're free to go any time you need to. We can process this while you're gone and have it ready for you as soon as you want to come back." She raises her voice more and says she's not leaving until she gets the shot and she needs it right now. We go in circles until the pharmacist finally comes over and repeats everything I just said (which is usually enough for most people) and she's still shouting the same stuff. Everyone has stopped what they're doing to stare at this crazy arm flapping yelling lady throwing a temper tantrum in our store. She says "Okay but I'm only waiting fifteen minutes." The pharmacist is like oh hell no "You said you need to leave to take your medicine, I think you should leave. The shot will be here later. Really you should just leave." Anyway she doesn't leave, she waits the whole twenty minutes, but we couldn't give her the shot because she recently had a different shot and the two couldn't be given so close together. She was surprisingly okay with that, thanked the pharmacist, and left. Later he tells me she threw something at the other pharmacist once for like no reason. But that's a normal day in a pharmacy.

Well that's my story today, tell me about a crazy person you came across once (or a lot of times idk).

The most notable crazy person I've come across recently was some dude walking into our office and heading to the back where our kitchen is like he worked here, attempting to steal an armload of cider packets. When security stopped him to ask if he was stealing our cider, they removed the packets from his hold (see: snatched away from him unwillingly) and in response he began to scream about how he was here to see a lawyer and that he would never ever steal (despite the fact that he was just trying to).

He was promptly escorted from the premises.

A tramp used to frequent a clothes shop I worked at and would always change the jukebox to Madonna songs. He would then stay in the store for at least an hour jamming out to her best hits.

I know Lynx to be a man of dedication, but I didn't know him to be so cruel in his stalking methods.

At Logan's, this lady ordered an alcoholic drink. I asked for her ID & she didn't have it...
So I refused to serve her.

She said "Well wall away then, bitch"

Ohhh hellll no.

I said "Youre gonna watch what you säy or your lips are gonna beat you to the hospital." & told someone else to take care of her.

I don't get why people want flu shots so late in the season anyway.

A patient told our XRay technician the other day her occupation is adding to the isotopes and destroying the oceans. She also told the doctor that the Fukushima meltdown caused the death of the Pacific ocean.

Some kid died from the flu and it was all over the national news. Like we had been going through a box of shots a week and then suddenly everyone was asking about them and we did a box and a half in one day. We were like, "ok either Dr Oz said something dumb again or a kid died what happened here."

yeah I know someone who effectively said the same thing. being atheist doesn't give me a lot of credibility in the matter but I wanted to explain to her that um she's an idiot

Dr Oz is so misleading like okay maybe he is a doctor but he's certainly not from Oz
