I have a weird fascination with other people's desktops. I love to see how organised their icons are (if they are organised at all), and what wallpapers they choose. I also used to be really into customisation, and used to like seeing all the ways people changed the theme of their desktop. I think there's a reason operating systems are so customizable - you can tell a lot about a person from what their desktop looks like.
In truth, I am not very organised, as you can see from my screenshot. I save random files anywhere and everywhere in my filesystem. However usually I choose to "Hide Desktop Icons" because I like to see my wallpaper, lol. I included them in my screenshot so you can see how disorganised I can be.
So, what kind of person are you, and can you tell what kind of person you are by your desktops?
BONUS POINTS: Include a pic of your actual desk with your computer on it, I didn't because I'm lazy and also my physical desktop is even messier.

This is literally my desktop. No icons. No start bar. Just images.

-edit- updated with that higher res wallaper I found.

I am judging all of you.
Parker: Did you black out all of your pornography files/folders? Points for effort, but CLEAN YOUR DESKTOP.
Cuch: I am impressed with the cleanliness of your computer station, good job.
Sephex: I just had to stab my eyes with a biro and scroll past the awfulness of Parker's desktop, and yours is literally a sight for sore eyes. Look how calming that looks.
shion: Uugh, the calendar is clashing! Do you use iTunes and Windows Media Player? And does everyone align their icons to the left?
plef: A+++++
Jiro: *shrug*
Mirage: I hope your second monitor arrives soon. You certainly like pink.
Vivi22: That's the kind of thing I would expect you to have. I like that you have a Sprites folder.
sharky: Huh?
Spuuky: Zen as always.

Nah, I have a habit of savings things as <swearword>.filename and I didn't wanna get anyone upset. Also some of my saved pics are mildly nsfw so I blacked them to be safe.
Oh and I did say that I usually kept desktop icons off! No one usually sees them and I use the search function because I have way too much stuff to keep organised!
There are some cool desktops here! I like the owl the best, so far.

I used to do a lot of fun things with many kinds of software and rainmeter to mess with my desktop... but I don't do that anymore. The fun of spending hours customizing my desktop just eventually died for me sadly.
Here's what my desktop is currently.

I just wish I was able to find a higher res version of that wallpaper ):. But yeah, I guess I do like pink.
-edit- now that I actually searched for it, I did find a higher res version. I had just somehow assumed that there wasn't one available.
For the uninitiated, my wallpaper is of Yukiko Amagi's Persona, Konohana Sakuya. It is from Persona 4.

That mirc icon is like several versions old. Enjoy your exploits, shauna!
I actually have a reason for this. xD The newer mIRC versions lock you out if you don't buy it eventually (the continue button permanently greys out), so I looked out an older version that wouldn't do that. I probably should just buy a license since mIRC is pretty cool, but this all came about when I was a poor student who couldn't afford fun things.
