I believe there is some kind of system in place where I can upgrade my PS3 account so that it works as a PS4 account instead. Something like that, anyway. Here's hoping! Although I don't have a PS4 yet, I suspect I will before the end of the year. If I can convert the PS3 account into a PS4 one, I will... but I doubt I'll use it very much. I love my PC for any game that requires chatting.

You can use a USB keyboard on the PS3/4 to speed things up. PS4 all the way. That, and because my PC/laptop are both ancient so I'll be getting it on PS4! :spin:

Yup, and if that works for you, great! :D Just not my thing, really. I like to have the TV going while I'm MMO-ing. ;D It doesn't really make a huge difference to me who plays the game on what, though, as the great thing about FFXIV is that we can all end up playing together on the same server anyway. :D

Aye, free upgrade to PS4 version from PS3 version. Plan on doing the beta for the shiny sparkly version next month.

I'd like to because I want the physical items that come with the collector's edition such as the art book.

I have the PC digital collector's edition. Is there any way to get the fat chocobo mount and wind up moogle on pre-existing accounts?
