Until us greedy Americans can finally get our hands on Bravely Default. Well, won't be a day one purchase for me as I have some money to raise. Would anyone like to donate to the ToriJ, "For the love of God get a 3DS now!" charity drive? No? Worth a shot.

I'll be getting it immediately. Been looking forward to it for a while, and the demo was amazing. I'm also one of the lucky few who got the Collector's Edition (which sold out on the day it was announced).

I've had it on pre-order at Amazon for a month. It ought to get Primed here a day or two after release. I have high hopes for this game.

I like how already there's a browser game and sequel in the works, a desire to make one every year and 300,000 copies sold before even coming to the US. Man, we're late to the party this time. I'm curious to see how sales do over here, but I can't help but have this feeling people over here will find stupid reasons to hate it >.>

I've been playing the demo recently and I enjoy it. I love that you can play the demo for a few hours and still not be done with it, plus the fact that some of the items you obtain carry over to the full game.

Best of luck actually getting the pre-order. I've heard stories of people ordering from Amazon and Newegg having the collectors editions pre-orders cancelled cause they have less stock than anticipated. Not intending to worry, but just beware about it.

God I want this game so bad. Unfortunately my friend hasn't sent me the 3DS XL that they gifted me a couple months ago yet. So, the wait will continue for me. Which sucks. But I hope to have this soon.

Pre-ordering was the only way to get the collectors edition in the UK. Standard editions are at basically every online retailer though.

I find Pre-Orders bonuses only really relate to the retailer GAME. For example, if you pre-order Yoshi's New Island from the you get a Yoshi Egg Carry case. You end up putting £5 down, but that's taken off the cost of the game at retail. Problem is that the games are more epensive from retailers than compared to amazon where I get most my games, so the pre-order bonus is just an incentive to pick it up from the store.

If there is no extra goody for pre-ordering though, don't do it. I just wait for the game to go down in price unless I want it Day 1, or are interested in the sucess of that series (e.g. fire emblem, bought that day one beacuse we don't see many strategy RPG games on the 3DS and it'd be cool to get more hint hint square enix.)

It's not that the Collector's Edition is pre-order only, it's that as soon as the Collector's Edition was made available for pre-order, the limited quantity of them sold almost instantly.

This was the original purpose of pre-ordering, you know. It wasn't just to get money early from the customer, it was to ensure that the store would have a copy for you when the game released. And it still is very important, especially for import titles that are considered "niche". Does no one remember the days when pre-ordering was pretty much the only way to ensure that your local store would actually get enough copies of the game to have one for you? Man, I feel old now.

I thought the Agnes figurine was from the Collector's Edition, not for pre-orders. Either way, I believe it is unavailable in NA. No pre-order bonus that I am aware of, and our Collector's Edition includes all the other features, but not the figurine.

Look what came in the mail today ;) Arrived on launch! I haven't opened it yet but the back is visible. It comes with a soundtrack, art book, and a deck of AR cards. Along with the game itself and the collector's edition packaging, of course.

^ You lucky, lucky bastard. It's true though. If you ordered a more popular game's CE late, it would have a fairly good chance of being canceled due to selling out. I remember the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition selling out like a few days before I put my order in on Amazon, so I was really fortunate about that.

I really hate how NA versions do not have a figurine. But we got the free Bravely Default for the sequel upgrade I believe, so that makes up for it?
