No thread yet? Here it is!

The Dutch took the co-lead medal-wise with gold, silver and bronze on the 5000 meter ice skating race. Pretty much the only thing we're good at and I don't expect any medals outside of ice skating.

Slopestyle Snowboarding made it's debut and it's awesome.

So discuss the 2014 Winter Olympics! Do you follow any events? Any predictions on medals?

Slopestyle is cray. I love it. It reminds me of SSX.

Plus the BBC have the greatest set of commentators for it, they get so into it.

I used to fake illness from School to watch 98 and 2002 winter olympics it was great. I like a bit of curling and ice hockey. Ice skate races are pretty cool as well.

Yeah they can be super tense.

Not really into curling though! Freestyle snowboarding is where it's at  Half pipe events have started!

I'm not sure what it is about Curling it just gets me hooked our ladies look like a good team. I watched the womens sprint skiing today which must be so tiring, the Norwegians won gold and silver as well as curling:D I think it's when they slide on the ice before releasing the stone, it brings out my inner penguin.

I haven't watched any winter olympics ever in my life. I may have see footage of curling. Is that where they play marbles on the ice... with brooms?

Just noticed that team GB have a gold medal though! That brings our total of medals in 2014 to a new, all-time record total of... two.

Aaaaaaaaand absolutely destroyed by the Canadians. We all saw it coming though. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a109/Pikestaff/smiley/emot-canada_zps95147f77.gif

I would be sad that curling is over but now I am watching three different curling accounts on Twitter and they link to curling livestreams pretty much daily :plotting: :mwahaha:

We just needed Patches O'Houlihan to show us how to play.

After seeing our performance he'll be curling in his grave.
