Anyone who knows me knows I love Obsidian and Josh Sawyer to pieces. I consider Sawyer a genius of writing and game design, and he is responsible for some of my favorite games, notably Fallout: New Vegas.
Two days ago, he answer a question (http://jesawyer.tumblr.com/post/76160766813/i-notice-in-recent-years-many-popular-evil-characters) I posed on tumblr regarding on how a villain can be written sympathetically with strong motivations and still be an effective villain. He responded with a twenty minute video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwn_79rLSMM&feature=c4-overview&list=UUormzAJ-LQ2frWbBLcqxIfg) that I think is absolutely fascinating.
I can die happy now.
