Sometimes I draw and stuff

I have a tablet. I have photoshop. I rarely draw. But sometimes I do.

I've been working on something for the LR comp on DA. I'm cleaning a sketch up and the other is just sketchy too. Haven't had a lot of time to do it and I'm a slow arter so even when I do art it takes a while. Getting bodies to be anatomically correct is hard. I have no idea what i'll do for her outfit....

She's going to be holding a spear thing so that's why her army is all weirdlike. Still working on it obviously. Working on the line art of course so it's why it's simple.

So yah! This is my WIP and maybe completed stuff thread if I ever complete anything (i'm terrible about that). I'm sure I've had several of these over the years but I forget about them. Thought i'd share these cause it's for the Lightning Returns comp thing.

Thanks guys! Working on the outfit, took me forever. Then I watched the GoT trailer and was like WOLF!

I call it Wolf of the Waste. She has heels, shows skin, and has a skirt cause it's squeenix hahaha. I hate feet though. Again still rough sketching.

I hate her face now. After I colored it. blech. Not done. It's just the grayscale of course. Have the armor, leather, and hair left. Hair is a bitch so I was saying it for last.

Nah, she looks great! I love the outfit. I think the shading really makes it jump out. The only thing I would say is that the footwear is a little impractical, but everything else looks spot on!

ugh I look back at that from just a few months ago and blech, that sucks.

I sketched something on my big pad today. I have a story idea "My Neighbor, The Devil." Where a guy moves in and his neighbor is a literal devil, and a dick of a neighbor.

Even though I have an art tablet, I'm still better with traditional media. I tried some lighting and shading with pencil

Actually, I have this magical talent of not doing any kind of art and when I come back i'm magically better than I was before and I didn't do anything for months.

It's weird. And a bit awesome.

Thanks lwl! I did more arts. I think i'm going to try to sketch more often. I say sketch but it's not very quick. I"m a slow arter.

I tried a weird thing. I was shading and blending and smearing the pencil and it destroyed the hand. Oops. Too lazy to fix it now

Thank you shion! I tried to do something different and i'm learning a lot about shading with pencil. So that means a lot as I was worried it wasn't going to come out very well. =x Thank you!


I also have facial anatomy down but body stuff I still have a hard time with. It's a work in progress! You can always learn more ^_^

I tried an anime style as I never do it. I'm not very good at it haha I almost never draw in that style, I always end up adding more realistic details. Have inuyasha
