Good grinding places in World 1?

Where do you like to grind in World 1?

I've yet to pick a spot, but the cannons on the front of the Flying Ruins are giving me a bit of trouble, and I'm not yet sure how to handle it, so grinding was my idea.

Where can I net the most AP?

Jachol Cave, or however it was spelled. All enemies are easy things that always give 3 AP, except an occasional super strong enemy that will kill one of you and then run away.

I hate those Squirrels.
They can be a pain if you don't know how to kill them properly. I've read the best way is to use Lightning Scrolls, which are dropped regularly by Thunder Anemones in the Ocean. Or use !Gaia.

I know how to kil them anyway and still hate them.
