To the Moon (http://freebirdgames.com/to_the_moon/)

I'd like to say manly tears were shed, but they were not manly. What other games have you got?

I generally consider myself to be a person with little to no emotions.

But To the Moon and The Walking Dead decided I should feel otherwise.

End of disk one of FFVII :p, can't think of any others. Oh the other night when DayZ glitched on me and killed my week old character by throwing him off a castle tower :(

When it comes to mediums like games, TV or movies I seldom cry. Out of the three, movies are the only thing to ever get a tear out of me and the last time I remember crying at the theater was during Toy Story 3. I can't think of a single game that managed to get that kind of emotional response from me. Which is strange because I cry all the time about other stuff.

Recently the first Walking Dead game got me going (haven't played the second one yet). Actually, that's the only time I actually cried. Other games just made me tear up a bit, but not actually cry.

The end of the Rachel back story in FF VI and the ending of FFX.

I've never cried, though I've come pretty close.

The finally of Mana Khemia was so sad. ;_;

End of disk one of FFVII

This is the only time I've cried at a game. It wasn't a big sob, just a few tears.

I've been moved by a game. The opening 30 minutes of The Last of Us is a good example. No tears at a game since 1997 though.

I don't think I've shed tears over a game before.

You've played The Walking Dead haven't you? If so then you're just an inhuman monster.

All of them. I'm so emotional.

More specifically, Xenosaga Ep. I and III
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy X
Dark Cloud (seriously beginning of the game, first level, when everything is destroyed, I'm just ;_______________; until I get at least half of the stuff back)
Dark Cloud 2
Majora's Mask
Ocarina of Time

Others that I can't think of right now, but there are more.

I am rather quick to shed tears if I'm moved by a storyline.

Although in terms of games, the only one that had me shed a tear was Final Fantasy X, the ending. I knew about Final Fantasy VII's end of disk 1 long before I got emotionally invested in that game so it never really hit me.

Though if you count visual novels since they are technically 'games', Clannad, Tomoyo After and Little Busters! all had me crying. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni made me tear up a little too (that line "I'm sorry that I was born"...).

Phoenix Wright: Justice for All had me clench up on the bad ending, but I don't think I shed a tear.

If ever there was a thing that could make me give less of a fuck about FF X, it's that picture right there. XD

The only game that made me cry in my whole entire life, was when I was a kid. Final Fantasy 7 when Aerith died.

The ending of Pokemon X reminded me of how I spent so much of my childhood immersed in these games and I definitely teared up.

Touhou, you would too.

Soooooo I was digging around an old PC drive I had in a desk drawer and I dug up my ancient rom folder. After some pokes and prods I get the emulator to obey my will and fire up a game I hadn't played since I was in high school.

I don't think I've ever physically cried from a game before.

However, one scene that was particularly moving was the end of Dreamfall when Faith died.

The music in that scene is just fantastic.

I really need to finish To The Moon. I played about 15 minutes of it and got bored, but I've heard such great things about it I feel the need to force myself through it one of these days.

The ending of Final Fantasy X made me cry quite a bit the first couple times I played it. I played it again a couple years ago and even then it still makes me tear up a bit (mostly that part where that sad music plays with all the flashbacks).

Aside of that, I can't recall a game ever making me cry, though the last episode of The Walking Dead: Season 1 did manage to really bum me out.

It didn't manage to make me cry, but I do feel it's got one of the best JRPG endings ever. Everything is just so wrapped up and satisfying.

Those dream things you find and read can be pretty saddening though.

I don't get it! Did I miss something in the first season? Is it something I haven't reached yet in the second? Somebody died inthe first season and I felt nothing. Nothing.

I don't understand how you could play through the Walking Dead and feel nothing when Lee is saying goodbye to sweet pea/asking her to kill him.

Maybe it's because I haven't reached that part yet and/or I didn't choose options to get to it at all. :colbert:

It was at the very end of the first season. How do you miss it? I don't even think it's possible to choose options that result in missing that all together. I'm very confused now. What game did you play lady?

Mass Effect 3, when I shot Mordin Solus on my renegade playthrough. I love that little guy.

Catherine, randomly throughout the game. I was going through some serious relationship issues at the time.

Nothing else really comes to mind but I'm sure they're have been others, for a man I'm pretty in touch with my emotions.

Echoing other people by saying To The Moon and FFX. Those are all I can think of off the top of my head.
