If you were an NPC in a game, what would you say?

I considered putting this in general gaming, but really it wouldn't be a discussion about games at all. :greenie:

If you were an NPC, what would you say? Would you make some sort of remark about the weather, or about where you are? Or would you ask a doomed-to-not-be-answered question about the player character's origins?

Likely, I would be an NPC who's only line was botched in translation, and it is beyond recognizable what I was trying to say.

When I retired from my job as RGM for Dragon Nest Europe, there was discussion about them (eFusion) asking Shanda (the owners) to make an NPC in honor of all my hard work and dedication, they asked me what lines I would like my NPC to say and I decided I wanted him to say "The Game" lol.

Shamefully Shanda never warmed to the idea and said no :( but it was nice of them to ask in the first place ^^.

New idea for what I'd want my NPC to say.

I'd want it to just say something mundane like "The weather sure is nice." or something. But if you keep talking to my character something like 50 times or something, my character would say something like:

"Help, I've been stuck in a time loop for 50 years and can't get out. For the love of God, please kill m... The weather sure is nice."

One of my favorite games is this semi-comedic sci-fi RPG Anachronox. At one point in a space station some prophet cries out explains his theory that all people are just secondary characters in a larger narrative and that ultimately explains their circular, seemingly stagnant living patterns, and inability to speak more than a handful of phrases. Most of the crowd dismisses him as just another foolish doomsayer.

One gentleman, a humanoid fellow, is found standing nearby. Upon speaking with the chap he quips, "That's ridiculous! I have plenty things to say!" ad nauseam.
