since we have 6 sign ups, this is how it will be:
we will be playing matches in a time period of 1 week.
i will tell you in this thread who has to battle who, and then you have a week to get it done.
each person has to do 1-2 matches a week. depending on how fast all the matches are played i might speed it up a little

for every win you get 2 point
every lose is 1 point
every not played match is 0 points

i will post scores and (new) matches every sunday evening
the results of your battle have to me pm'ed to me

optional (only if everyone wants)
once the 1v1 games are over we could play 2v2!

rules:
- No legendaries (with the exclusion of psuedo-legendaries), if you are not sure if the pokemon is or isnt, check it on this site: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/
- No megastones
- switching pokemon between battles is alowed

i personaly prefer no legendairy pokemon, but we can vote for that later on, if you would want to.

what would you ppl prefer? 1 selected team for the whole tournament, or would you like to switch pokemons once in a while as you see fit?
for me it would be 1 selected team becaus i only have 1 good team for these kind of battles :P

You've never seen how Mega-Kangaskhan can rip apart entire teams with no effort, or how Mega-Gengar can shut down the only thing that can reliably stop your sweeper from doing the same thing, have you? They were banned with good reason.

Mega-Kangaskhan, at least, isn't broken in Doubles (official Nintendo tourney mode), but in Singles? So very broken.

This basically. Well, regarding the switching of teams, I'm fine either way really. But like Skyblade also mentioned: Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Gengar are a bit too bonkers.

He weny down pretty quickly, though, it was the test of your team that wiped me out last time :p

Psychic is probably the worst type in the game, currently. I still really enjoy it, but it has common weaknesses (especially with the buff to Dark and Ghost) and few strengths. You'd honestly be better off with a bulkier type and stat build for a scout.

Someone to set up your team. A weather-setter, a hazard setter, etcetera.

Other than that, annoyances can make good leads as well. Pokémon like Klefki, who specialize in Paralysis, Sleep, Confusion, and generally disrupting team dynamics among your opponents while letting you scope out how they work.

Nooo... my Mega Mawile and Mega Scizor! =(

I'd actually prefer all mega stones to be available then, since I doubt anyone here will use a cheap Mega Kanghan or Mega Gengar anyway. :monster:

I'm kinda fine with that too to be honest. I've never had any problems with Mega Mewtwos or Lugias or even Arceuses thus far.

Mega Gengar + Kanghan might be pretty bad, but I'd still rather allow them too than ban one of the cooler new features in X/Y entierly just because it's 'unfair' to ban only those two.
