After I found out about the advantage of unequipped weapons, I went full monk on this game and had everyone go bare fist. I ended up dealing 100+ damage early on in the game and had enemies running away from me! I still get a chuckle out of that. I also heard once you get to a certain part of the game that strategy doesn't work out so well anymore. Who else here went monk while playing?

I always make someone a monk, usually Firion or Guy cause Josef was my favorite of the temporary party members. Honestly, it stays pretty consistent for damage until the end, it's just that certain weapons at the endgame make for better strategies.
