Did you ever use the summon spells

You know, for awhile there I actually forgot the game let you summon the espers into battle. So did you ever use them?

I chose maybe a few of them because I wanted to see what they were like when I first played the game. I haven't seen them in years because I never feel a need to use them.

They were always less effective and more costly than pretty much everything so I never bothered. I did summon a few to see their sprites up close, but they were all pictured in the manual anyway, so even that didn't have much of a point.

None of the one that caused damage but I ocaisionally use the one that casts spells on my team like Carbuncle and Phantom. I used ragnarock a few times when I was looking for Marvel Shoes

Though I know that espers are summon-able I chose "YOU CAN SUMMON THE ESPERS IN BATTLE?!?", as I don't think it ever actually occurs to me to use them other than to see what they look like.

I use them a lot more now than I did when I was younger.

I used a few of them pretty frequently on my second playthrough. I relied on them pretty heavily depending on who/what/how many enemies I was facing.

I... think we used one once to try and invisible our party, then that failed. That was about it.

I used them, especially the first time I got them, like I do for all FFs.

I didn't have that much use for them, but a lot of the effects could be quite handy, especially early on.

I the only I used consistently was the one that casts Vanish on the whole party. Summons in the older games seem less useful until XII comes along and makes them out right useless.

I use Phantom and Golem a fair bit, and Palidor for the Magimaster fight. Not much outside of that, though.
