Do you ever see your EOFF username pop up in every day life?

I wouldn't regard mine as overly common but I keep seeing it everywhere at the minute. In the last two weeks I have...

1) Won the Golf Masters

53327

2) Helped a virgin launch his girlfriend through a wall during sex

53328

3) Starred as a comedy elephant in my very own in-flight computer game. God damn I love those peanuts!

Where do you see/hear your name in everyday life?

Apart from other people using the name on other sites, no.

Madonna

Never. It is pretty cool that your name turns up such results, Bubba.

Madonna, such a unique name!

Mine is obviously everywhere. Well... once you split it into two different names, that is...

The Man
04-26-2014, 11:24 AM
The Man, oh, you don't know The Man. He's everywhere. In the White House... down the hall... Ms. Mullins, she's The Man. And The Man ruined the ozone, he's burning down the Amazon, and he kidnapped Shamu and put her in a chlorine tank! And there used to be a way to stick it to The Man. It was called rock 'n roll, but guess what, oh no, The Man ruined that, too, with a little thing called MTV! So don't waste your time trying to make anything cool or pure or awesome 'cause The Man is just gonna call you a fat washed up loser and crush your soul. So do yourselves a favour and just GIVE UP!

I think I win?

Considering my username basically is my name, I hear it daily.

Shauna

Maybe every now and again.

separate the 2 words, and I see it sometimes.

I just read "noxious" several times in a book.

That would be kinda hard in my case...

I am often dreaming of sushi or selling Chinese electronics or being a JPopstar.

I hear my name everytime I play Xenosaga

Formalhaut

Well my username is based on a star, so perhaps now and again. I see it more often when playing FFXII though.

No. That's just silly.

No. That's just silly.

I think of you whenever I see this guy:

53368

Because his name is Agent P.

I was running through Ulduar and I totally killed myself.

Fun fact: I had an Agent P set at one point. :3

What a terribly obnoxious raidboss ugh

Usually men wearing white coats brandish it when I've climbed on top of the frozen aisle in the grocery store wielding a crowbar and dressed only in a snorkel and flippers (taupe).

All the time, actually.

Every day at work. There's a large fire hazard sign on electrical box G13.

I guess you could say G13 is kind of a big deal.

Raine

Everytime someone speaks of bad weather..

But with the e at the end, nope. Though some people call me Raine outside of the online world to mock me. I still enjoy it.

And your examples are really great, Bubba!

I have one of those extremely generic reappropriated screen names. Oft than not you can find my name involved with some horrendous affair. I am currently auditioning for a starring role in the Ukraine - Russian crisis.

Big D
04-30-2014, 10:59 AM
This was my old nickname at high school, so I don't encounter it often these days.

Usually when I hear 'Big D' outside of EoFF now, someone's either talking about porn (of the 'well-endowed gentleman' genre) or classic 90s ska bands.

Whenever I see your username it makes me think of Dudley Dursley.

I've seen http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_j8FsnjYHylg/S2OlrO0SG0I/AAAAAAAAAcE/60uHCZ8kAnA/s320/bubba_gump.jpg

As for me, I hardly ever see anything even related to mercenaries, much less Mercen-X.

MJN SEIFER
04-30-2014, 09:32 PM
I see "MJN" in places, like registrations at times. Obviously I see "Seifer" on Final Fantasy related places. I have never seen them together in day to day life, unless I'm playing a videogame I and I chose that as I my name as LP practice.

Mercen-X

Right, well, I suppose I see X in enough places.

I watch lots of South Park. I also played the Stick of Truth recently. So a lot! Oh, human interaction too, I guess.

I use it on another board, but other than that only when I watch "The Best of Christopher Walken" SNL DVD.

I rarely hear mine. Maybe if I lived in Finland I'd hear it more often.

I hear "no big deal" a lot and every time I think of you, if that helps :ffviwag:
